Dual Credit Programs of Study

Appropriate Grade Levels:
11, 12
This dual credit program should be considered by students with interests from any of the following career clusters:
∙ Arts, Audio/Video Technology & Communications
∙ Information Technology
∙ Manufacturing
∙ Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics
This dual credit program of study offers students an introduction to four different communications/information technology programs available at MTI including:
∙ Automation Controls/SCADA
∙ Information Systems Technology
∙ Satellite Communications
∙ Telecommunications
Students who successfully complete the two semesters will earn up to 12 credits from MTI in the programs listed above and two credits towards high school graduation from the Career and Technical Education (CTE) category.

This dual credit program of study offers students an introduction to four different energy-related programs available at MTI. These post-secondary courses are available to students who are interested in career specific programs while earning college and high school credits.
Students who successfully complete the two semesters will earn up to 12 credits from MTI and two credits of high school Career and Technical Education (CTE).
Credits apply toward the following MTI programs:
• Power Line Construction & Maintenance
• Propane & Natural Gas Technologies
• Wind Turbine Technology
• Heating & Cooling Technology
*Courses are “hybrid” with online work and monthly face-to-face hands-on labs.
